For his latest musical venture, El Alfa teamed up with Tyga for his new single and music video “Trappea,” premiering exclusively on Billboard today (Aug. 19).
Marking their first-ever collaboration, ‘Trappea” invites the California-born Hip-Hop artist to rap in English over the infectious dembow melodies that distinct El Alfa’s sound.
“I’m the pride of an entire country. An example to follow,” El Alfa proudly proclaims on Instagram. Tyga, also made the announcement on his account, sharing a set of Dominican flag and fire emojis. “Drop a flag wherever you [are] from,” he expressed.
In the colorful music video, directed by Rodrigo Films, both artists are seen jamming to the music video as a group of women show off their twerking skills.
In addition to joining forces with El Alfa, Tyga has previously collaborated with Latin artists J Balvin, Jon Z, and Ozuna. El Alfa, on the other hand, has teamed up with Major Lazer, Black Eyed Peas, and Lil Pump.
