“Nos Fuimos Lejos” is the new song from Cuban singer-songwriter Descemer Bueno and Enrique Iglesias — who together wrote and performed “Bailando.” The song also features Cuban reggaeton artist El Micha, a star in Cuba who appears in the video pimped out in a fur coat, rapping at the center of a Las Vegas party scene.
The video, by Cuban director Pedro Vázquez, lays out choreography for the song. Bueno plays out the sexy lyrics with a blonde, and wears outfits that include a Native American head dress. There are shots of the three artists camping it up, with Iglesias cracking up with laughter at the end of the clip.
The song is the first to come from a deal Bueno inked with Sony Music Latin in partnership with Iglesias and previews a new album from Bueno that is expected soon.
Iglesias and Bueno share songwriting credits on “Nos Fuimos Lejos” with El Micha and Cuban composer Jorge Luis Piloto, who has had a long career in Miami writing songs for salsero Gilberto Santa Rosa, Carlos Vives and many other artists.
