As part of the celebration of the 2018 Latin American Music Awards, Telemundo hosted its first Contribution of Latinas in the Music World panel on Tuesday, Oct. 23.
Moderated by Leila Cobo, Billboard’s executive director of Latin content and programming, the panel inspired today’s female artists and motivate them to be true agents of change in the industry sharing personal stories by Aracely Arambula, Becky G, Gloria Trevi, Leslie Grace and Roselyn Sanchez, who also are going to host this year’s Latin AMAs.
The panel, which took place at The Los Angeles Film School, had all kind of emotions including real stories of their fight for their success, their mistakes and what they learned.
Becky G, Roselyn Sanchez and Leslie Grace agreed that learning a new language has been their biggest challenge, while Gloria Trevi confessed that she wouldn’t do a sexy calendar if she had the choice, and wasn’t influenced by them. Aracely Arambula also said she always looked to her grandfather as an inspiration to pursue her career.
