In the latest episode, the five group members — who are between 17 and 22 years of age, and of different nationalities — shared their best memories growing up, favorite food, favorite telenovelas, and the best thing about being a Latin artist.
While Joel and Zabdiel admitted their best childhood memories were of spending Christmas at home, Richard said he missed riding dirt bikes in the mountains of the Dominican Republic with his dad. Richard also got real about street food, whereas, Erick said he was a sucker for pollo relleno (chicken stuffed with ham and cheese).
Erick and Richard also proved to be the biggest Telenovela freaks of the group, admitting some of their favorite soaps were Corazon Valiente, Relaciones Peligrosas, and Gaviota, to name a few. Meanwhile, Joel, who’s Mexican-American, ‘fessed that his mom would make him watch novelas to perfect his Spanish.
As for the best thing about being a Latin artist? Christopher said it’s the opportunity to show your Latino pride and represent your culture in other countries. The entire group also agreed that Latin artists are very united and supportive.
