While singing “A Sky Full of Stars” at Estadio Nacional de Lima last night (April 5), Coldplay‘s frontman stopped right in the middle of his performance to dedicate a special song to his son, who he brought up on stage along with sister Apple and mom Gwyneth Paltrow.
“I have to do something right now that is very important,” says Martin in perfect Spanish. “It is my son’s birthday. Kids come out here. Everyone sing with me, please.” After the special family moment, the British singer resumes his song. Check out the video below (1:15 minute-mark).
Paltrow also shared the memorable moment on her social media accounts. “When your dad wishes you an early 10th birthday at work,” wrote the actress.
