Colombian band ChocQuibTown stopped by Billboard’s lounge during Latin Grammy week to play “Fishing For Answers.”
The video starts with the trio reminiscing on winning their first Latin Grammy in 2010, before revealing that the songwriter who ChocQuibTown admires the most is Jairo Varela from Grupo Niche.
“I believe that is one of the pioneers in Latin music because he did a lot for the salsa genre,” says Goyo, lead vocalist–and, according to Tostao and Slow, the best dancer of the group.
When on tour, their favorite song to perform is “San Antonio.” “It is a traditional song and the best part is the one we do acapella.”
