Carlos Vives took to social media to share the new version of his song “Volví a Nacer” featuring urban superstar Maluma, the theme song for the new Mexican soap opera Despertar Contigo.
The track was made available on all digital platforms Aug. 8 to go hand-in-hand with the premiere of the soap.

“Volví a Nacer” was first part of Vives’ 2013 album Corazón Profundo and hit No.1 on the Hot Latin Songs and Latin Airplay charts. This is not the first collab between the two Colombian singers: In 2015, they released the remix of “Ella es mi fiesta” and, up next, Maluma will add his vocals to Vives and Shakira‘s summer anthem “La Bicicleta.”
