Following the release of his new single “Tanto que te amo tanto,” Colombian singer/songwriter Cabas premieres the music video for the new track exclusively on Billboard.
Cabas’ beautiful ballad — which will have an English and uptempo version dropping later this year — is the first single from his forthcoming album, his first in six years, due in October.
The “Mi bombón” singer premiered the single during a Facebook Live with Billboard earlier this month where he talked about the inspiration behind “Tanto que te amo tanto,” which he wrote for his 8-year-old son Simón.
“We’re always saying goodbye to people, and that’s what got me feeling nostalgic. I’ve been recording a lot lately and have had to be away from my son Simón, so the song is exactly about that. It captures what I feel when I’m missing the ones I love.”
