Tidal subscribers can now listen to Mexican rapper C-Kan‘s new album Antes de Todo, which debuted today (June 29) exclusively on the streaming platform.
On this new album, the “María” singer is taking his fans down memory lane by re-recording 26 tracks from throughout his career. “As an album that features my best records to date, Antes de Todo is a great way for my fans to hear some of my best music since I released my first professional project three albums ago,” C-Kan told Billboard.
“From the new production to re-recording some of my favorite tracks, Antes de Todo is more than just a new album — it’s a celebration of everything I’ve been able to do. With such a special album, I wanted an even more special release, which is why I chose to premiere the album exclusively on Tidal. As a Latin artist, I admire how TIDAL has been so supportive of Latin artists and fans like myself by providing me with opportunities like this to connect to more fans around the world.”
This is not the first time C-Kan has partnered with Jay Z‘s streaming platform. Back in October, Tidal live streamed the rapper’s “Live From Urbano F3st” show in his native Guadalajara. He was the second Mexican artist to partner with Tidal, the first being Mexican regional singer Julión Álvarez.
