Bizarrap would love to record one of his now-legendary “Bzrp Music Sessions” alongside trap tumbao star Natanael Cano.
The Argentine producer and DJ, who has recorded 46 “Bzrp Music Sessions” since 2019, revealed Cano was on his bucket list during a Twitter Spaces interview with Billboard’s Leila Cobo on Tuesday. Bizarrap also said he and Cano had spoken but had yet to finalize any plans.
Bizarrap, who has racked up billions of streams with his sessions, is nominated for Latin Grammys in four categories, including best new artist and the high-profile producer of the year category. His sessions with Nathy Peluso and Snow Tha Product are also up for awards. Bizarrap, who rarely gives interviews and who is known for keeping a low profile — down to his dark glasses and pulled-down baseball cap in photos — also said his next session has yet to be recorded but will feature someone “big.”
He would not elaborate, but considering his current session featured Anuel AA — a global superstar — expectations are high.
A word for the wise, however: If you get Bizarrap to do a session with you, it’s a one-shot deal per artist. “It’s one and done,” he said. “Doesn’t matter who it’s with.”
