
Billboard Latin Music Week promises plenty of surprises and activities, but the music dominates thanks to the many artists performing at scheduled showcases. Performances by Sofia Reyes & Justin Quiles, Presented by Buchanan’s

Justin Quiles
Reggaeton singer-songwriter Justin Quiles, aka J Quiles, has written for some of Latin’s most notable acts, such as Anitta and J Balvin. No stranger to Billboard’s Latin charts, he emerged reborn as a singer and songwriter with his sophomore album, La Promesa, which earned him his first solo charting set, which debuted at No. 2 on the Top Latin Albums chart following its 2016 release.
Sofia Reyes
The Mexican-American singer/songwriter was discovered by Bakab, then she signed with Warner Music Latina and D’León Records. Reyes scored two hits on Hot Latin Songs: “Muevelo,” featuring Wisin, which peaked at No. 25 in 2015, and “Solo Yo,” with Prince Royce, which peaked at No. 35 in 2016. Her latest single, “1, 2, 3,” is a collaboration with Jason Derulo and De La Ghetto.

Juan Pablo Navarrete
Juan Pablo Navarrete Gonzalez is an 18-year old Colombian singer best known for his hit with Pipe Bueno, “Tu Fama Te Hará Llorar.” His musical style is cheerful, romantic and strong, a robust blend of ranchera and different South American rhythms that combine beautifully on the ballad. His biggest dream is to sing along with Vicente Fernández.
CD9
CD9 is a Mexican boy band who has won over audiences with tracks like “Angel Cruel” and “Me Equivoqué.” In 2016, they recorded the song “Turtle Power,” a fun update for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows soundtrack.
Roberto Antonio
The Venezuelan salsa singer/songwriter made his debut in 1985 with Mi Cocha Pechocha and has released more than 25 albums since. His long list of collaborators includes the recent addition of Venezuelan duo Chino y Nacho. His most popular YouTube video is “Me Enamore,” which boasts over 500 million plays.
Guayacan Orquesta
Colombian salsa outfit Guayacan Orquesta has been going strong since 1983. The group’s current configuration will perform classics and new songs at this can’t-miss showcase appearance.
Jessi Uribe
Jessi Uribe was born in the north-central Colombian city of Bucaramanga. His father, mariachi singer Fernando Uribe, inspired his son to make a name for himself. He continues to evolve as an artist, creating a unique style of music that captivates with every note.
Kubo
Kubo’s music is mesmerizing with its infectious beats, both upbeat and inspiring. The recording artist continues to grow, thanks to dynamic talent and a strong musical perspective that’s accessible in any language.

DJ Kane
Jason Cano, better known as DJ Kane, is a Mexican-American singer who was the lead vocalist for A.B. Quintanilla y Los Kumbia Kings from 1997 to 2003. He has been a solo artist for a while now, collaborating with many artists, such as Stereo Kumbia.
Giselle Gastell
New Jersey-born Giselle Gastell has been working hard for years. As a child, she was already showing her creative chops with her collaborative work with Alejandro Jaen and Pedro Miguel Morales, which eventually led her to the Billboard charts.
Francy
Colombian singer Francy is known as “La Voz Popular de América.”
DJ H Ramirez
DJ H Ramirez will man the decks for the Latino Show Night with his electronic music.
Lady Janny
Dominican singer Lady Janny performs a mix of bachata, reggaeton and dancehall.
Grupo Niche
Jairo Varela and Alexis Lozano founded salsa ensemble Grupo Niche in 1978 in Cali, Colombia. Attendees will definitely dance to their salsa.
Bulevar Descarga
Bulevar Descarga formed in San Diego, Calif., in 2013. These artists, musicians and producers are influenced by classic rock, soul, reggae, funk, groove, classical and Latin jazz.
Sayverse
Sayverse is a Latin pop-rock band from El Paso, Texas.
