The star took to social media to share news of her joining the cast of Paramount’s Baywatch, starring Zac Efron and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. “Excited to join the #Baywatch movie and have fun with The Rock, the baddest/coolest lifeguard you’ve ever seen.” Belinda also shared a photo of her landing in Savannah, Georgia, where production is taking place. Other scenes of the reboot will be shot in Miami.
The 27-year old Mexican actress is no stranger to the spotlight, beginning her acting and singing career at age 10, starring in telenovelas such as Cómplices al Rescate and Amigos X Siempre. In 2006, she crossed over to the English market thanks to Disney when she starred in Cheetah Girls 2 alongside Raven-Symoné and Adrienne Bailon.
