Vittar, also fessed up that he will be performing his upcoming single “Flash Pose,” featuring Charli XCX, a song that’s full of energy and has a super ’90s vibe.
The Zumba Fitness Concert takes place at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
Talk to us about your participation at this year’s Zumba Instructors Convention Fitness Concert.
Becky G: I’m so excited! I’m not going to lie, I’m like fangirling about it because I’m a huge Zumba fan and on top of that, I’m excited about the opportunity to be affiliated with the Zumba family.
Pabllo Vittar: This will be my first time at a Zumba convention, and I can’t wait. I am super excited to sing for all those people and, most importantly, see all the cool choreography there.
What can Zumba lovers expect from you during the Fitness Concert?
Becky G: I am ready to break a sweat! So it’s only appropriate that I arrive completely ready to dance. But I’m also going to perform a cool show for everyone!
Pabllo Vittar: Lots and lots of energy! I love to perform and this one is going to be special!
What would you consider your best three songs for a Zumba workout?
Becky G: “La Respuesta” with Maluma is the one we started the campaign with the fans, and seeing their take on it has been so incredible! I think that this is the one that connects more with Zumba fans. I would also say my song “Mad Love” with Sean Paul is a really good one because of that fun, reggae vibe and “Sin Pijama” with Natti Natasha is a good one.
Pabllo Vittar: For sure “Buzina,” “Flash Pose” (you will love!) and “Caliente,” with mi amor Lali! They are super energetic but at the same time have a totally different vibe, so you can try different dance moves in each song.
Why is it important for young people to take care of their health?
Becky G: It’s so important for me, personally, to use my platform to talk about these things for many reasons. I think growing up in a Latin household where we sleep and eat more, learning to live a healthy lifestyle has been a challenge. I feel that there’s been a lot of positive outcome from being good on my health, whether it’s working out or staying active.
Pabllo Vittar: Your whole body and soul are connected and you gotta take care of both so you can manage to have a better life. It doesn’t matter which exercise you do, you gotta find the one that suits you best and just go for it.
