Aventura to Reunite With Romeo Santos
The Aventura shows will officially reunite Romeo Santos with former bandmates Henry Santos, Lenny Santos and Max Santos in what a spokesperson said would be their last shows together.
But their venue of choice is very different from the massive arenas the group — and Romeo Santos — have played for years.
The United Palace Theatre is an intimate (3,400-seat) venue that was originally the Loew’s 175th Street Theater, the last of the “Wonder Theaters” built between 1925 and 1929. Newly renovated, it’s now a nondenominational place of worship and also a venue for performances. Most recently, Enrique Iglesias and Nicky Jam filmed “El Perdón” in the venue.
Romeo Santos will continue with his South American tour in March.
