Aventura’s recently announced reunion concerts will take place on Feb. 4, 5, 6 and 7 at the United Palace Theatre in New York City, located at 175th St. and Broadway. Presale for the limited engagement shows kicks off Friday, Dec. 11 at 6 a.m. at South Beach Restaurant (1390 Nicholas Avenue and 180th St.) or through Ticketmaster using code MEGA.
But their venue of choice is very different from the massive arenas the group — and Romeo Santos — have played for years.
The United Palace Theatre is an intimate (3,400-seat) venue that was originally the Loew’s 175th Street Theater, the last of the “Wonder Theaters” built between 1925 and 1929. Newly renovated, it’s now a nondenominational place of worship and also a venue for performances. Most recently, Enrique Iglesias and Nicky Jam filmed “El Perdón” in the venue.
Romeo Santos will continue with his South American tour in March.
