
Latin trap singer Anuel AA has been relocated to a halfway house, Billboard has confirmed.
During the weekend, Puerto Rican rapper born Emmanuel Gazmey-Santiago was transferred to a halfway house in Miami, FL. According to a report from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, a federal site that offers information on people who have violated federal laws, the singer will be released on July 17.
In 2017, Anuel AA was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison on the unlawful possession of firearm charges in Puerto Rico. The rapper was arrested on April 3, 2016 after officers found three guns, a dozen clips, and 152 rounds of ammunition in the vehicle. In December of the same year, he pled guilty to the charges.
