One of the best childhood memories for the 50-year-old singer was visiting her house in Acapulco, where she would do a lot of outdoor activities, such as scuba diving. She also reveals that the first time she visited the U.S., she went to Disneyland.
In the new episode, Guzmán talks about tea tree being the best household remedy, “Mexico Lindo y Querido” being the best song that reps her country, and how her Cher concert experience was a “total nightmare.”
As for the best tattoos that represent the rockstar, Guzmán flaunts the “Soy Asi” phrase on her hand, the sugar skull on her ear, and the one on her neck. “This represents the wind that goes through my vocal cords and becomes a voice,” she says.
The best thing about being a Mexican singer? “When people recognize me only because they like my music,” she says. “There are people who have said beautiful things to me, like, ‘Thanks to one of your songs, I didn’t kill myself,’” she says, adding that she tries to write positive lyrics to help her fans through her music.
