Pop singer Abel Pintos won the 2017 Golden Gardel Award for album of the year at Argentina’s annual music awards, making him the only artist to achieve that distinction three times. Pintos also won best album in 2013 and 2014.
At the Gardel Awards ceremony in Buenos Aires, Pintos also took home best male pop album for his latest recording, 11, and song of the year for “Cómo Te Extraño.” He was nominated in seven categories.
