Tim McGraw is finally dropping his first solo album in five years, Here on Earth, on August 21, and the country superstar isn’t letting the global pandemic stop him from throwing a proper celebration.
McGraw announced on Tuesday (July 21) a “one-of-a-kind” livestream event, which will celebrate the album by giving fans a peek into how it was made. The country star will go live from Nashville on August 21, and will chat with songwriters and his band, and reveal the stories behind his new tunes.
Plus, he and a five-piece acoustic band will perform some old favorites along with some new tracks.

“The thing I miss the most about playing live is the connection I feel to everyone,” McGraw said in a statement. “Even if we can’t physically be together this summer, hopefully this will give us a chance to share the new album and know how much we are still together seeing each other through.”
