At just three years old, Asher Mooney is already showing off his musical genes.
Dan + Shay‘s Shay Mooney took to Instagram over the weekend to share an adorable video of his son’s new song. “So, Asher has been recording on his iPad, and today, he has written his masterpiece,” Shay explains in the video. The song is titled “Nice All Day Long,” a sentiment of kindness that we can all be reminded of in 2020.
When asked about his recording process, Asher sweetly explained, “My process was, I was singing it in the office while it was pressed recording.”
And as for what the track was inspired by? “Being nice all day long,” the toddler simply replied.
Shay went on to play the 17-second hit, which features Asher belting the lyrics, “Sorry, sorry, I am nice, yes I am all day long / I’m nice all day long, yes I am / Nice all day long, nice all day long / Oh, yes I am.”
