For Russell Dickerson, there’s nothing better than a pair of “nice and squeaky” Crocs.
As part of Billboard‘s “My Top 10” series, the country crooner showed off his extensive Croc collection in an exclusive video on Billboard’s Instagram Wednesday (Aug. 12). At the end of the long row of rubber shoes was a mini pair, for his “baby boy on the way.”
Dickerson ran through his essentials for life in the country, complete with (decaf) coffee, a protein-packed green smoothie, Bourbon on the rocks and some Virginia peanuts “to go with that Bourbon.”
His backyard, a dense, five-acre stretch of woodland paradise, is the singer’s location of choice to “come and get some peace.” But the landscape’s peaceful nature didn’t stop Dickerson from letting out some adrenaline, “tearing it up” in his Polaris RZR cart like a true country boy.
However, the deeply rooted love for wine, nature and Crocs doesn’t even come close to the top two most important things in his life. See the sweet moment by watching Dickerson’s full IGTV video below.
Dickerson released a number of new singles this year, including “Home Sweet” and “Love You Like I Used To,” and has been teasing the follow-up album to his 2017 debut, Yours. On Thursday (Aug. 13), he and his fellow ACM new artist nominees will be joining Willie Nelson for the charitable single “On the Road Again (ACM Lifting Lives Edition).” All proceeds will benefit ACM Lifting Lives’ COVID-19 Response Fund.
