Some of country music’s biggest names are coming together to support a good cause at 1 Night. 1 Place. 1 Time.: A Heroes & Friends Tribute to Randy Travis in Nashville on Wednesday, Feb. 8.
A country music legend, Randy Travis has 10 Gold Records, won six Grammys, and has had five songs make the Billboard Hot 100.
Travis, who suffered a life-threatening stroke in 2013, surprised many with the miraculous strides he appeared to have made in his recovery when he sang “Amazing Grace” at his induction into The Country Music Hall of Fame in October. He later performed “Forever and Ever, Amen” at the 2016 CMA Awards in November.
“Nashville is coming together on February 8 for one night in one place and at one time to give back to their friend and musical hero, Randy Travis,” said producer Travis’ manager and producer of the event, Tony Conway. “It’s amazing to see the support that Randy has received from the music industry since his stroke. We’re thrilled to have all of these artists come out and pay tribute to him.”
Featuring performances by Alabama, Kenny Rogers, Rodney Atkins and more, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Randy Travis Foundation, which raises money for stroke research and rehabilitation.
Tickets go on sale Friday (Dec. 9) at 11 a.m. at all Ticketmaster locations and the Bridgestone Arena Box Office.
