After the devastating death of Randy Rogers‘ six-day-old daughter, the Randy Rogers Band has canceled a show scheduled for Friday.
“In light of the recent news in the RRB camp, we will be canceling the show at the Lumberyard this Friday night,” a Facebook post from the band reads. “We are working on a make up date to come back as quickly as possible. Thanks in advance for all your understanding during this difficult time.”

While the post only addresses Friday’s show at the Lumberyard in Roscoe, Texas, the group is also scheduled to play Saturday night at the Casa Blanca Ballroom in Laredo, Texas.
On Wednesday (June 10), the Randy Rogers Band announced the news that Rumer Rain Rogers — the daughter of Randy and his wife, Chelsea — had died only six days after her birth. “Rumer died of natural causes, in her parents loving arms, just days after her birth,” the band’s statement reads. “During this time of grieving, the family asks that individuals wishing to offer condolences make a donation to the children’s charity of their choosing. The family thanks you for your love and support.”
