The Pistol Annies dropped their much-anticipated third album just over a week ago, and Interstate Gospel is primed to be among country’s most acclaimed LPs this year. It also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart. Fittingly, their Country Music Association Awards performance was a great one.
Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley joined forces for their slapper of a single “Got My Name Changed Back.” Supported by a nimble backing band (and Lambert on the washboard) the post-divorce rallying cry came to life at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
