One of the most hard-earned success stories in country music lately is Old Dominion, who worked for years in Nashville with little luck (they recently told Billboard, “We couldn’t get signed to save our lives” of their lean years).
All that changed in 2015. Since then they’ve earned three No. 1 Country Airplay hits and they performed the most recent chart-topper, “No Such Thing As a Broken Heart,” at the 2017 CMA Awards — at least, most of it.
In the midst of their song, singer Matthew Ramsey introduced the CMA nominees for broadcast personality of the year while the rest of the band played.
