Old Dominion will release their third studio album on Oct. 25. The country group confirmed the news during an appearance on Good Morning America on Monday morning (July 8).
Ahead of performing their latest single “One Man Band,” frontman Matthew Ramsey revealed the release date to ABC’s Robin Roberts. “October 25 third album comes out. It is self-titled. We’re excited to get it out there,” Ramsey said.
The album follows 2017’s Happy Endings and their 2015 debut Meat and Candy. Upcoming release Old Dominion marks the first time the band will be co-producing a project with longtime collaborator Shane McAnally.
The lead single to the project, “Make It Sweet,” reached No. 1 earlier this year. It became the group’s sixth No. 1 on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart. “Make It Sweet” was written by all five members of the band with McAnally.
Their follow-up single “One Man Band” is out now. Old Dominion are currently on the road as part of their Make It Sweet headlining tour with dates running through January 2020.
