Animal lover Miranda Lambert has a new addition to her pet family.
The country queen posted an adorable photo with the kitten she rescued this week, and its story will melt your heart.
“When your friend @harps226 comes to visit and says “oh by the way I picked up a stray kitten on the highway in Arkansas and it’s in the garage” And then she smile’s this innocent smile. Guess who has a kitten now,” Lambert wrote in the photo’s caption. Her kitten will join seven dogs at the Lambert residence.
Rescuing animals is no new habit for Lambert, who founded MuttNation Foundation in 2007. The organization strives “to end animal cruelty, neglect, and homelessness.”
