The woman takes full control in Luke Bryan’s latest country-rock single “What She Wants Tonight,” which he released Thursday (Oct. 24).
The country singer dresses up his latest single with a luxurious accompanying visual, which follows a beautiful woman and her date for the evening, whom she steals from another woman. The main subject channels that level of indomitable power throughout the remainder of the clip, as Bryan croons in the chorus, “She wants my hands on her body/ She wants to burn like she’s made of fire.”
The intimacy intensifies between the two, as they continue their rendezvous in an underground cellar tucked away in a mansion, past laser beams and wooden double doors. What begins as a handcuffed hook-up turns into a calculated robbery, with the woman carrying out a seductive heist by taking his jewels and sports car.
The song’s all-star writing crew includes Bryan, Ross Copperman, Hillary Lindsey and Jon Nite.
“I have wanted to get together with this group of writers for a long time,” Bryan said in a press release. “We came up with some really infectious hooks for this song and I think women listeners are going to like that the girl in the song controls the dynamic of the situation. I’ve been wanting to get a big rocking tempo out for some time and this is certainly it.”
Bryan will chat about and perform “What She Wants Tonight” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Sunday night as part of the show’s five special post-game episodes for NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
