Luke Bryan joins NBC’s Sunday TODAY With Willie Geist this weekend, and during the interview he opens up about the death of his brother, who was killed in a car accident when Bryan was 19.
In a preview, Bryan tells Geist how losing his brother Chris helped shape his drive for success.
“When Chris passed away I was 19 years old, fixing to chase my dream and it just totally rocked our family’s world, rocked my world,” Bryan said.
“It makes you appreciate chasing dreams, you know. You’re like, hey you get one go-round at this thing called life and it’s very fragile, so you better go after your dreams.”
Bryan will host the ACM Awards with Dierks Bentley on Sunday (April 2) night.
