Over the past 10 years, South Carolina native Lee Brice has developed a penchant for recording songs that showcased his blues-tinged voice. That sound comes into play on many of his more romantic performances that have made him a fan favorite in the world of country music over the years.
But, Lee Brice is far from a one-trick pony. He can turn on the swagger in as effective of a manner as anyone, such as “Parking Lot Party.” He can also turn nostalgic and emotional on a dime, as he does on the track that tops this Lee Brice song list. Just as his latest, “Boy,” demonstrates, the singer manages to captivate the listeners with both his serious and light-hearted moments, all of which are on prominent display here!

10. Lee Brice – “Beautiful Every Time”
This early Lee Brice song hit spoke of finding the special in everyday occurrences, such as a day at the beach, a church choir singing, or a solider coming home to his loved ones. The song was the follow-up to Brice’s first top 10 hit, “Love Like Crazy” — which you will hear about later. The singer co-wrote the song with Lance Miller and Rob Hatch.
9. Lee Brice – “She Ain’t Right”
In 2007, Brice made his chart debut with a composition that praised the sometimes unorthodox manners of his loved one, whom he loves because of her unique quirks and outlook on life.
8. Lee Brice – “Parking Lot Party”
Brice partnered with Thomas Rhett, Luke Laird and Rhett Akins for this 2013 single that turned up the tempo from his usual recorded fare a bit. The song was a simple one — all about the pre-concert experience — yet it made an impression on Brice’s growing fan following.
7. Lee Brice – “I Don’t Dance”
The biggest selling Lee Brice song so far was a unique love song about a man who knows that his approach to showing his devotion isn’t necessarily the more flowery or flamboyant, yet it’s as real as anything he could feel. The romantic cut became his third Top 40 appearance on the pop chart, as well.
6. Lee Brice – “That Don’t Sound Like You”
Teaming once again with Akins — and Ashley Gorley — this song about realizing that your former mate is a completely different person in her new relationship became his most recent top 10 hit.
5. Lee Brice – “Hard To Love”
Nobody ever sits down to pen a song about a man who is a “pain in the ass,” but according to an interview with Alanna Conaway for Taste of Country, that was exactly the approach that Billy Montana, John Ozier and Ben Glover took with this 2012 single that showed a man very grateful for the affection of his significant other — even though he admittedly didn’t do a lot to deserve them.
4. Lee Brice – “A Woman Like You”
The first Lee Brice song to top the charts, this song plainly spoke of the fact that a woman quizzing her man about what it was about her that he loved, to which he responded if he hadn’t found the woman of his dreams, he would be in search of one just like he had. The single was the first from his Hard 2 Love album.
3. Lee Brice – “Drinkin’ Class”
Brice channeled his inner Bob Seger on this tribute to the working class, which was the perfect showcase for his bluesy vocal approach. The song made it all the way to No. 2 on the Country Airplay chart, and was accentuated by a memorable video directed by Ryan Smith.
2. Lee Brice – “Love Like Crazy”
Brice has developed a reputation in his performances for making the everyday moments in life seem beautiful. In the song that became his first top 10 hit in 2010, the singer cites the lives of people who had rolled the proverbial dice on events that might have been considered a little risky. But, in the end, it all works out — thanks in no small part to the love of the woman who encouraged him all the way. The song was written by Tim James and longtime Nashville record executive Doug Johnson.
1. Lee Brice – “I Drive Your Truck”
In what ranks as Brice’s crowning achievement from a recorded standpoint thus far, this ACM and CMA-winning Song of the Year resonated with listeners who had lost a loved one in their lives. In the lyrics of this particular song, the singer is missing his brother — who was recently killed in action — and is comforted a little bit by driving his favorite automobile and being around his things. Co-writer Connie Harrington was inspired to begin the song after seeing an interview with a man who lost his son in Afghanistan, and kept his memory alive in much the same fashion.
