
At a recent show in Tampa, Keith Urban paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando earlier this month.
“Although I didn’t know anybody in that horrific incident, I did, because they’re just guys and girls, brothers and sisters,” Urban told the crowd. “They had dreams, hopes, plans, just like every one of us. So I know them like I know you guys.”

The singer then performed a ragged solo cover of U2’s “One,” which appeared on the band’s 1991 album Achtung Baby. After finishing the song, he added “God bless you Orlando. Orlando strong!”
Urban is currently on tour promoting his Ripcord album, which came out in May.
