Kacey Musgraves is making the most of her sold-out four-night stand at Nashville’s legendary Ryman Auditorium. In what amounts to a Grammy Awards victory lap, the album of the year winner invited a very special guest to join her on stage on Thursday (Feb. 28) to the delight of the night two audience. A night after jamming with Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Musgraves really threw the crowd a curveball when she invited rapper CeeLo Green out for a spirited, mariachi-style cover of his group Gnarls Barkley‘s signature 2006 hit, “Crazy.”
With Musgraves strumming an acoustic guitar and the band giving the soul smash a giddy-up tempo, the two vocalists remade the song into two-step shuffle as they do-si-do’d around each other.
