The 2017 CMT Awards announced a new list of performers on Monday (June 5), including the live paring of Jason Derulo and Luke Bryan.
Peter Frampton and Brothers Osborne will also perform together live for the first time anywhere at the Wednesday event. Also, guitarist Derek Trucks, a former member of the Allman Brothers Band and bandleader of the Tedeschi Trucks Band, will join the previously announced Gregg Allman tribute performance with Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker and Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley.
Derulo and Bryan’s onstage team up follows the duo’s CMT Crossroads performance last year.
CMT also announced the lineup of newer acts for its Firestone Stage, including “Breakthrough Video of the Year” nominees Brett Young, Jon Pardi and Lauren Alaina, “Group Video of the Year” nominee Midland, as well as Chris Lane.
Plenty of performers have already been announced for the 2017 CMT Awards, including collaborations from The Chainsmokers and Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood, as well as Earth, Wind & Fire and Lady Antebellum. Blake Shelton, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett are all set to perform as well.
The 2017 CMT Awards will be broadcast live on Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST.
