Demi Lovato made a surprise appearance at Brad Paisley‘s Friday night concert in Irvine, Calif.
The female vocalist was welcomed on stage by the country superstar in front of a lively crowd at Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre in Orange County to sing the duo’s newly released “Without a Fight.”

“We cut a little song that came out a week ago,” Paisley shared with audiences after introducing Lovato to the outdoor concert venue that will close this fall after 35 seasons of musical performances. “And we wanted to practice it, so you’re our guinea pigs tonight.”
“We’ve never, ever performed this song live together in front of an audience. You guys are the first ones,” Texas native Lovato, who declared herself a country fan, shared of the duet.
Before kicking off the collaborative song, Paisley paid a high compliment to his fellow musician: “This is about the greatest singer you will ever hear. I am so thrilled to finally hear you through.”
