The tenth annual ACM Honors took place back on Aug. 30 and was televised last night (Sept. 9) on CBS, marking the first time the ceremony reached the screen.
The evening at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium featured many highlights, including a star-studded tribute to David Bowie, who died earlier this year. Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Little Big Town combined forces to cover his iconic 1977 song “Heroes.”
The performance first aired just before the ACMs as part of a special to benefit Stand Up to Cancer. Bowie died Jan. 10 following a private battle with liver cancer.
