In Craig Morgan‘s “A Whole Lot More to Me” — for which he released a video on Thursday (June 2) — the singer proves what an open-minded guy he can be.
“When working on this project, I wanted to show that there was a whole lot more to me and a whole lot more to our genre,” he told Rolling Stone Country. “I love Cabernet, I like a caramel macchiato, the opera, a ballet. OK, maybe I’m not saying I like the opera or ballet, but I’ll go!”
The singer works with a crisp, light band on his upcoming album’s title track; his guitarist is particularly effective on harmony. Cabernet and macchiato appear again in the song’s lyrics, along with a few other items that suggest Morgan’s sense of adventure: sushi, caviar, champagne, a Versace suit and silk ties.
