The Country Rising benefit concert scheduled for Nov. 12 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena is all sold out, but there’s still hope for those who weren’t able to get tickets to the star-studded show. Event organizers announced Monday (Oct. 23) that there will be a second event happening on the same night called Country Rising: Downtown Jam, which will be held at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater and feature some of country’s hottest rising acts.
The Country Rising: Downtown Jam, set to be hosted by SiriusXM’s& Storme Warren, will include performances from Jon Pardi, Eric Paslay, Chris Janson, Carly Pearce, Drake White, Lindsay Ell, Tucker Beathard, Bobby Bones & The Raging Idiots and Bailey Bryan, with additional artists to be announced.
The original show at Bridgestone Arena has a roster including Jason Aldean — who was performing as shots first rang out at the Oct. 1 Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas that killed 58 and injured more than 500 — as well as Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, George Strait, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban. The event will be hosted by iHeartMedia radio personality Bobby Bones.
Both events will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, dedicated to “support charitable initiatives to help victims of the September 2017 hurricanes — Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria,” according to a press release. In the wake of the shooting in Las Vegas, the event will also benefit victims and those affected by the tragedy.
Tickets for Country Rising: Downtown Jam will go on sale Thursday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. CST via Ticketmaster. For more information on Country Rising and Country Rising: Downtown Jam, click here.
