Country artist Chris Young released his seventh studio album in October called Losing Sleep. The lead single and title track from the album marked his ninth No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The second track, “Hangin’ On,” was released earlier this year and has so far peaked at No. 8 on the Hot Country Songs chart dated Nov. 10.
In the song, Young sings about falling for a girl that he meets one night and how he’s “hangin’ on” to every word she says. A music video was released for the single, featuring clips of a couple enjoying their date at the beach intercut with Young performing the song onstage. By the end of the video, the couple ends up at his concert, dancing to the music.
