Underwood was scheduled to promote the release of her new album Cry Pretty, arriving Friday.
Though Underwood’s performance was canceled due to coverage of Hurricane Florence and not due to the actual storm itself, there have been several concerts called off for safety reasons. Jason Aldean‘s Thursday concert in Cincinnati was canceled due to flooding, and the inaugural Dreamville festival in North Carolina, hosted by J. Cole, has been postponed.
