Carrie Underwood has a new gig to add to her résumé: soccer mom.
The 35-year-old country music superstar shared a proud Instagram selfie Saturday (Oct. 20) on the sidelines of her 3-year-old son Isaiah Michael’s soccer match.
“Officially a soccer mom this morning!” the singer wrote, adding that she’s staying warm from the cold temperatures by wearing her fitness clothing line, CALIA by Carrie.
Underwood also noted that her son scored two goals for his team — and one for the other side. “Hey, a goal’s a goal! ??,” she wrote, jokingly.
Underwood hasn’t been shy about sharing up-close photos of herself since her accident last year. In November 2017 the artist tripped and fell while walking on the steps outside of her Nashville home. The accident left her with a broken wrist and needing 40-50 stitches on her face.
After the fall, Underwood told fans she’s doing well but “not quite looking the same.” She warned fans, “When I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.”
Ahead of her ACM Awards appearance in April, Underwood shared the first up-close photo of her smiling face. The picture revealed no visible scarring, ending speculation that the accident left the singer with a badly damaged face.
Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting their second child together.
