Brett Eldredge has been on a hot streak since topping the Country Airplay chart in 2013 with “Don’t Ya.” It was the first of three straight No. 1s on the tally, followed by “Beat of the Music” in 2014 and “Mean to Me” in 2015. Further, each of the three tracks have sold more than a half-million downloads, according to Nielsen Music.

The Atlantic Nashville recording artist will unveil his long-awaited sophomore album, Illinois, on Sept. 11, and Billboard is excited to partner up with CMT to bring you 10 of the album’s 12 cuts a week early with this exclusive stream.
In addition, the network will do the same for Eldredge’s upcoming CMT on Tour co-headliner Thomas Rhett, with a similar stream of his Tangled Up release in two weeks.
In a June interview with Billboard, Eldredge said he remained true to himself on the album. “For me, I just try to stick with what I know. I try to stay inspired, and write songs that I love. Take ‘Lose My Mind,’ for instance,” he said about the album’s lead single, which moved up from 8-7 on this week’s Country Airplay chart. “It’s totally different than anything else I’ve done. It’s my soulful side that I wanted to get out. It’s fun to venture out there and put my own spin on it.”
