
Ahead of the CMT Music Awards and Nashville’s biggest celebration of country music, CMA Music Festival, Billboard will be celebrating the genre with a pair of special events to kick off the week in the heart of Music City.
First, Billboard and CMT partner for a showcase of rising female stars on June 4. Billboard Live featuring CMT Next Women of Country will include performances from Jillian Jacqueline, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Jo Smith as well as special remarks from CMT’s senior VP of music strategy and talent, Leslie Fram, and Billboard’s editorial director, Jason Lipshutz.
The female-driven event will take place at Analog at the Hutton Hotel, just down the street from Nashville’s famed Music Row. Doors open at 6 p.m. CT, with performances from 7 to 8:30 p.m. CT.
The following night, Billboard will host an invite-only Country Power Players event on June 5, which honors the top 100 executives in the country music industry. Billboard’s annual Country Power Players issue will be available on June 4.
