Little Big Town‘s “Girl Crush” charmed its way the music collections of many ACM viewers following Sunday night’s (April 19) performance — at least if the Shazam numbers are any indication. Their performance of the provocative single was the most Shazamed moment of the awards show, followed by Christina Aguilera‘s duets with Rascal Flatts.

Shazam, the music app that allows users to identify songs they’re hearing but might be unfamiliar with, was one way that viewers could use the ACM Awards to discover new music. With so many different performers over the three and a half hour show, viewers were bound to come across some new music to check out.
Crossover acts in particular made a big impression with Shazam users — the artist formerly known as Xtina and Nick Jonas were both among the evening’s most Shazamed artists (probably a result of surprised fans wondering when their favorite pop singers had picked up a country twang).
