Kelsea Ballerini delivered a glitter-filled, neon-lit performance of her most recent hit, “Yeah Boy,” at the 2017 Academy of Country Music Awards Sunday night (April 2).
Ballerini has shown off her star power on several award shows, but she may have outdone herself at the ACMs. With a pink Beyonce-like sparkly leotard and a Taylor Swift-esque silver guitar, Ballerini had the charisma of a true superstar as she sang her sugary sweet tune.
The 23-year-old singer received her first ACM nominations last year, including female vocalist of the year, but didn’t win either. She’s up for female vocalist once again, competing against Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Kacey Musgraves — but she certainly proved her worthiness of the award with her performance.
