BTS’ “Butter” remained steady at No. 1 on both the 24-hour and 7-day live Hot Trending Songs charts, powered by Twitter, as of Friday afternoon (Nov. 5).
The song, released via HYBE/BigHit Music/Columbia Records, spent 10 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and crowned the latest weekly edition of Hot Trending Songs (dated Nov. 6).
Billboard‘s Hot Trending Songs charts, powered by Twitter, track global music-related trends and conversations in real-time across Twitter, viewable over either the last 24 hours or past seven days. A weekly version of the chart, covering activity from Friday to Thursday each week, also posts alongside Billboard‘s other weekly charts on Billboard.com each Tuesday. The Hot Trending Songs charts highlight buzz around new releases, award shows, festival moments, music nostalgia and more and are unique in that they track what songs people are talking about, not necessarily what they’re listening to.
Among other tracks making moves on Hot Trending Songs, SB19’s latest single “Bazinga” climbed into the top five of the 24-hour chart following the Oct. 29 premiere of its official video. It also reached the top 10 of the seven-day live chart.
K-pop group The Boyz reached the top 10 of the 24-hour ranking with its new track “Maverick.” The song entered the chart following the Nov. 1 arrival of its official clip.
Plus, BTS member Jungkook placed on the 24-hour survey, powered by his cover of Harry Styles’ “Falling,” which debuted on the weekly ranking.
