After TMZ cameras recorded Paul McCartney, Beck and Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins being turned away from a Grammy party at Hollywood club Argyle (Feb. 15), rapper Tyga caught the flak online after the outlet reported he was performing at the event. Jimmy Kimmel then invited him to his late-night show to get to the bottom of the party snub.
“I had no knowledge — I was inside performing,” said Tyga, who lingered outside of the Jimmy Kimmel Live! green room after jokingly being denied entry. “I wish I knew that [Paul] was outside. I would’ve went out there with the mic, brought him in and perform ‘Rack City’ with me.”

While a “Rack City” remix with Sir Paul would make for an interesting Mashup Monday performance, Tyga pointed the finger at the fire marshal, who Kimmel said may have shut down the guest list at the time of the Beatles legend’s arrival. “Yeah, tweet the fire marshal. Don’t tweet me,” added Tyga.
The rapper then extended a personal invitation to McCartney on-air for his Feb. 26 show at L.A.’s Club Nokia, even offering, “I’ll personally walk you in.”
