At Monday night’s (Aug. 26) MTV Video Music Awards, there was no denying that Taylor Swift walked away as one of the evening’s biggest winners.
Taking home the night’s main award for video of the year, after a stunning opening performance and winning the video for good prize, Swift walked out of Newark’s Prudential Center with her head held high.
It helped that the video snagging her those prizes was “You Need to Calm Down,” her star-packed LGBTQ anthem that took the world by storm earlier this year. With dozens of cameos from queer celebrities all throughout the video, Swift found herslef not only being congratulated by those around her, but by the stars that she so prominently featured in her video.
From Adam Lambert to Antoni Porowski, here are just a few of Swift’s co-stars who congratulated her online for her major win at the VMAs:
I am blown away, sorry mom for cursing on live TV but I’m just so f**king excited!!!!
