The 2015 American Music Awards are only a few weeks away, and as voters eagerly select their favorites, Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now” feat. Justin Bieber stands among pop smashes in the race for collaboration of the year.
The record’s music video has successfully clocked in over a quarter of a billion YouTube views and is close to reaching that impressive mark on Spotify as well.
While members of both the dance and pop music community may have been initially puzzled by the partnership between Diplo and Skrillex as Jack Ü and Bieber, the sun-kissed production and its abstract dolphin-tinged melody sent the track to No. 8 on the Hot 100.

Beyond the success of “Where Are Ü Now,” Diplo and Skrillex have formed a strong bond with the pop star, leading to further collaborative efforts in the studio. Bieber’s latest record, “Sorry,” was co-produced by Skrillex and is already off to a hot start as it made its Hot 100 debut at No. 2.
