Rauw Alejandro had already wowed once with a Tuesday (Sept. 21) performance during 2021 Latin Music Week in Miami, but the Puerto Rican artist took it to the next level at the 2021 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday (Sept. 23) night.
Taking the stage in a sleek knee-length jacket that glistened under the disco ball above him, Alejandro was surrounded by a fast-moving circle of roller skaters while performing the genre-melding “Todo De Ti” from his second album Vice Versa.
The backup dancers/skaters performed in impressive unison, but Alejandro was no slouch either; when the song detoured into an electronic breakdown, the skaters exited and Alejandro busted out some seriously fancy footwork, dancing with an effortless cool that was astonishing to see. He ended the number combing his hair Danny Zuko-style – though that greaser didn’t have the split pink-aqua hair Rauw was rocking.
“Todo De Ti” is a No. 3 hit on the Hot Latin Songs chart, hailing from Vice Versa (Duars Entertainment/Sony Latin), a No. 1 album on Top Latin Albums.
