
Rachel Platten performed her hit “Fight Song” during the taping of Logo’s third annual Trailblazer Honors on Thursday night, honoring the victims of the Orlando shooting at Pulse gay nightclub and bringing the audience to tears.
In the emotional performance of the famously empowering single, Platten honors the victims of the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history, which left 49 dead and 53 injured. The 2016 Trailblazer Honors will shed light on the pioneers of equality within the the LGBT community as part of Logo’s “We Are Orlando”-themed programming.
Platten’s “Fight Song” performance is accompanied by a video montage of vigils and LGBT supporters and activists. The show airs Saturday at 8 p.m. ET on VH1 and Logo.
