Nick Jonas and Tove Lo’s hit single “Close” came to life tonight (May 22) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The performance was relatively short, but it certainly made its mark.

The former Jonas Brother meant business, poignantly delivering the opening lines of “Close” hunched over towards the audience, working the crowd into complete captivation. This one lacked an elaborate stage set-up but it hardly mattered; once Tove Lo joined Jonas, the stellar single was basking in its full glory.
“Close” is set to appear on Jonas’ forthcoming album Last Year Was Complicated, due out June 10. So far, it peaked at No. 26 on the Billboard Hot 100.
